Sara & Ayson’s Santorini Honeymoon: A Perfect Photoshoot in Imerovigli and Skaros Rock

I’m so glad I get to photograph a couple who is celebrating their honeymoon in one of the most stunning places in the world. Sara and Ayson, who just tied the knot in a small, intimate wedding in Tennessee with only their parents by their side, chose Santorini as the perfect spot to celebrate their love.

We met at the quiet village of Imerovigli, one of the most beautiful spots on the island. The sunset light was soft and golden as they arrived, and you could tell instantly how connected they were. Despite having been together for 8 years, their chemistry was as fresh as ever, full of laughter and love. We spent some time walking through the charming streets of Imerovigli, capturing the moments between Sara and Ayson as they embraced the beauty of the island and each other. The whitewashed buildings, the blue skies, and the endless view of the Aegean Sea set the perfect backdrop for their photos.

Imerovigli is also one of our favorite less crowded sunset spots in Santorini.

After our time in Imerovigli, we made the short but slightly challenging hike up to Skaros Rock, a hidden gem that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Santorini. The hike was well worth it—the views from other side of Skaros were nothing short of spectacular, and the small church behind Skaros Rock added a magical touch to the already enchanting landscape. As they stood at the edge of the rooftop, the wind in their hair and the sun setting in the distance, it was clear that their connection was as strong as ever—eight years together, and just getting started.

The photos from this session perfectly capture the essence of their love and their honeymoon: intimate, adventurous, and full of joy. I feel so lucky to have been part of such a special time in their lives.
