THE BEST WAY TO FIND THE HIDDEN GEMS OF SANTORINI

Do you ever get lost in a new place? Don’t worry — all of us do and thankfully there are some ways to get around it! I taught I should share some of my quick tips.
First of all, you should have a map with you at all times. Off course, you must not carry around a globe with you, but you should at least throw the local tourist destination map in your bag or back pocket. If you have decent GPS coverage and access to the internet on your phone, you’re pretty much saved, just make sure you download some of the dictionary/map/tourist apps before you leave the hotel – mobile broadband is really expensive!
OK, now that I reminded you the basic things, let me tell you an awesome technique I learned recently. Have you noticed that the tourist shops are full with postcards with beautiful places? Well, the thing is that they sell with the local tourist destinations on them. What if I told you could visit most of them with no geographical knowledge at all? Just pick a card with your favourite destination and show it to a cab driver or ask locals for directions. This way you don’t even have to speak the same language to get information from people on the street. As funny as it sounds, this method is really effective and fun.
