Santorini in Winter: Museums & Ancient Sites Open for the Season 2025/2026
From November 1 2025 to March 31 2026, Santorini’s museums and archaeological treasures welcome visitors with their winter schedule. The new timetable, set by the Ministry of Culture, keeps the island’s heritage vibrant even in the quieter months.

Visitors can enter up to 20 minutes before closing.
Sites close on Dec 25–26, Jan 1, and Mar 25, but remain open on Epiphany and Clean Monday.
Tickets & Free Days
Ticket prices remain stable year-round; EU visitors aged 65+ enjoy a 50% reduction from October 1 to May 31.
Free entry applies to:
- EU citizens up to 25 years old
- Non-EU citizens up to 18 years old
- People with disabilities and other eligible groups
Free entry dates:
6 March, 18 April, 18 May, last weekend of September, 28 October, and every first and third Sunday from November to March.
